This webinar is brought to you by Today’s Training and IQ Legal Training.

Issues associated with airspace or subsoil development may not be obvious problems for residential conveyancers but have you considered a residential client who wishes to extend a property upward or wishes to extend a cellar or contract an underground garage / swimming pool.

Whilst most conveyancers are familiar with surface boundary issues, what about boundary problems and other issues concerning the use of residential property or development? What about residential leaseholders becoming aware of landlords increasing the height of a building? Can the leaseholder object?

In this webinar, we will explore all of these issues as well as:

  • Can a freeholder undertake airspace or subsoil development?
  • What does freehold ownership actually mean?
  • Can a landlord develop airspace and increase the height of a building and what are the consequences for landlord and leaseholder?
  • Can a leaseholder object to airspace development?
  • What can we learn from case law.

Please note, the course fee is per person.

All sessions are recorded and available on demand if you are unable to join live. Please book your place and the recording will be circulated 48 hours after the live session to review on-demand.
