Brought to you by Today’s Training, part of Today’s Wills and Probate and HTF Legal Limited, this 60 minute course provides an overview of the options for clients when it comes to planning for later life care costs.
The costs of care are escalating rapidly, and many clients are concerned that their assets will be significantly depleted by the time their loved ones inherit.
Will Writers and Solicitors are often asked what can be done to help protect assets as far as possible. The answer to this question relies upon a sound understanding of the care regime, how it works, and what advice should then be provided to clients, whether an individual or a couple.
There are several routes that can be taken, and clients must be provided the relevant information to be able to decide upon the best route forward.
Expert speaker Helen Forster will cover
- The current care regime
- The new care regime coming into force
- Lifetime gifts
- Lifetime Care Planning for clients; wills and trusts
- Deeds of Variation and care fees planning
Course notes will be provided. Delegates who complete the course will be provided with a Certificate of Attendance
Please note, the course fee is per person
